I have spent many an hour in Super Cubs and other small planes over Northern BC. You can sometimes see an incredible number of game along the Ketchika, Muskwa, Prophet and Tuchodi River valleys where the terrain is fairly open. Also like the Yukon and spent one season in the Selwyn Valley bordering NWT.

Depending on your line of occupation, there are jobs to be found up here. Anybody wanting to work in the oilfield area will have an easy time finding jobs in NE BC and Alberta.
And the hunting is as good as it comes.
