Go to the Small Calibers thread, you'll find some interesting topics for your application.

I load the Sierra 120 gr. hollowpoint boattail for pronghorn. It works great. I would think the 100 gr. stopper you mention would be excellent.

scrappy. I hunted Antelope in Wyoming for 7 years in a row. ALL the locals up there I hunted with used the 25-06. They mostly used 100gr. Sierra spitzers. Have a good zero to 350 yds. or so. P.S. usually there are prairie dogs in Antelope country, bring a 223 or a 22-50 and at least 500rds. Most ranchers will be glad to see you. I used a 308WCF most of the time, but I also used a 7MM Mag, 300WBY Mag and a 30 HERRETT contender, just to add variety. Even used a H&K 91 one year, shot my second best Antelope buck ever with it. I always bought 2 extra doe tags, I like to eat the meat. [Big Grin]

I shot a ton of antelope with the 100 gr. silvertip in the 250 Sav. and 257 Roberts as a kid growing up....Of course they will kill deer and antelope...would I prefer a 120 gr. in a 25-06, probably so...
