Forbes Magazine Story on Hunting
Not sure how many AR members subscribe to Forbes magazine, but there is a pretty good story in the Jan 18 edition about elk hunting.

Nice to see some positive press.

Not really too surprising. Malcolm Forbes owned the Forbes-Trichera Ranch in south central Colorado. It's well over 150,000 acres and has long been enrolled in the Ranching for Wildlife program. There are a lot of elk hunts done on that ranch.

Ted Turner owns huge ranches in several states as well as in South America, and pay-to-play hunting takes place on most if not all of his properties. So far, I've yet to see or hear the man discuss or defend hunting.

Yep, a company I use to work for would take clients out to the Forbes Ranch each year. Once you took a beverage out of the cooler, it's spot in the cooler was filled almost immediately with another beverage

I have bird hunted with Ted Turner several times and he is a very good hunter. I understand that his ex Jane is a very good deer hunter.
