My Grays Mulie

ELKMAN2My Grays Mulie
I shot this mulie Saturday, in the Grays river drainage. He is a 7x7, 30in, 180 gross buck. It was an easy 100yd shot, but I had a total of 16 miles on my feet when the meat was finally in camp. I have a 190 on the wall now and I guess I will put this one along side it!! I was and am very happy!!

Woodrow SYou looking for a partner next year? Just kiddin ya...thats a very nice mulie you got there. I hunted eastern Montana with a friend in 93 and he shot a 30" heavy 5x5 and I thought that was big. I went home with a 150 B&C Whitetail so I was happy too. Sounds like you worked for that one. Now you need a nice bull Elk to go with him.

HerrMesserMay I ask just where is the Grays river drainage?
That is a really nice buck. Hope to someday put a decent one on the wall but will probably never happen as I only have a small piece of ground over on Inyan Kara road.

24mileboyElkman,
Wow what a brute that is. My uncle used to take his old bus in that drainage and leave it all summer and we would go up and camp. Haven't been back for 25 years, maybe I should.

fantastic, but I didn't realize that the mule deer season was open so early. I thought it was more like early Nov in Wy or are all units different?
