I got a deer in unit B and pronghorn in unit 9, also drew doe tags for both in the same units.
October is going to be a busy month.

I drew a limited quota goat tag in area 46, so it looks like I'll be in Wyoming September 25th.

I hope you get a good buck in 45. It is right outside of the town where I live. I drew a tag in 62 but will probably try for a doe in 45 also.

Members; I received my license in the mail yesterday. Although I can't say I'm pleased with having to send my money to the state of Wyoming 5 months before the drawing, I can't complain about the turnaround once the drawing was held. I just wish they would allow non-residents the opportunity to buy the $10 Conservation stamp through the mail instead of making us find one in-state once we get there.

Good luck to all of you who drew licenses.

P.S. - does anyone know of a hunter-friendly motel in Casper? Don't think the Hampton Inn would appreciate me trouncing through the lobby, rifle in hand.....

I doubt any would think twice about it. I have trounced down the hall of the Hampton and Holiday Inn both with rifle in hand and never a second glance.

Pretty common here. Just use some common sense.

Woo Hoo! I received my goat tag last Friday and my mulie tag today!

I also drew for mulie buck in region D (which I'll be in unit 66). I also drew a goat tag in unit 32 which is the same land as 66 for deer.

I'll be going by myself if anyone wants to hook up near Casper. I'll be leaving Wyoming and driving down to Colorado to start my elk/mulie hunt there for a few days, then back home to Ohio.

This will be my second hunt in Wyoming ever. I have permission on multiple private ranches. I have not made reservations in a hotel because one of the land owners has a place to stay for $20/night, with heat, hot water, a tub and a bed, which is all I need.
