Need suggestions on a gun dealer in Colorado Springs area that will facilitate a transfer of a couple handguns to my son.

He's in the military and lives in that area. He travels a lot so he hasn't had a lot of time to ask every shop about it. Apparently those he has inquired with aren't keen on dealing with handguns that have high capacity capabilities due to the status of recent state law issues in Colorado.

I fully expect to pay any fees involved for the transfer and there would be no high-capacity magazines involved in the shipment. Just need someone knowledgeable of the regional gun shop situation that can point us in the right direction (within ~75 miles?)

Thank you in advance.

There is a place close to me you could ship to and I could take them to your son. I drive down south once a week. Just give me a call if I can help

Finding an FFL dealer is no problem (he's talked to a couple of them). It seems that some of the dealers are hesitant to facilitate a handgun transfer due to some issues/interpretations of the newly enacted laws.

DL, I'll contact you within the next day or two.

Interesting, because the magazines for such handguns is what they went after, not the handguns themselves.
