I shot my first Black Bear last Thursday in Manitoba at KC's Outfitters. I sat in the pouring rain for 4 hours before getting a shot. I saw more than 25 bears in 4 nights of hunting. It was a great hunt and I can't wait to go back to try for one of the jumbo sized ones in the area!

Shot my first bear over 26 years ago I think I would rather shoot bears then bucks.

Thanks for the great comments everyone! It sure was a great experience and I am really looking forward to hunting bears again! They take some really BIG bears in that area-there was a 405 # taken the week I was there and a 508 # a few weeks ago. Ken runs a great camp!
