Roger is the the most gifted artist I know. And yes I know several very good artists. He
does what is called Photo realism painting. I swear if you have a copy of this
painting on your wall. People will walk up to it all the time to see if it's a photo. Our
friend Jim has it on his wall, and it astounds me every time I see it!
Go to his web sight and check out "The Long Shot" it is on my wall right in front of
the desk I'm at typing this. The detail is second to none. I'm stting here two feet
away, and it looks so much like a photo it's cool. Anyway I will quite braggen up my
buddy and let you all go see for your self at his sight ,or auction. You can get a
better look at this painting on his sight.
Don't miss the carving section of the sight either he is a great wood carver also.
My favorite is the 5'6" Indian "Grey Wolf" from white pine.
P.S. One other thing you all would like about Roger. He's a bonifide gun and hunting
nut like us. He lives in the Swan Valley MT. area.

Yes they are, and believe me the web sight doesn't do them justice! You really have to see them in person to get the whole effect of the detail.
If my wife hadn't all ready filled my walls with nice art before she died I would have one of Rogers pictures in every room. "Caught out on the flats" is really cool to. Kinda Remington,pr C.M.Russle feel to it.
