Anyone for a beer ????
I will be travelling around Kansas, Ohio, Colorado, etc for work. I will be visiting some Aberdeen Angus breeders and a couple of cattle auctions.

Anything to hunt or fish there..? I will try to at least catch my first black bass... thumb

It's possible to hunt deers or turkeys during the last week of march ??

It will be nice to have a beer with some of you.

I'm the gunsmith in Boulder Colorado. Stop in if your around or give a call. I'm up for a beer or a bit of shooting. I have several extra guns and could loan you one. March isnt a good time for hunting here, everything is closed. In the begining of May turkey opens.

plainview,
Boulder is much more gun friendly than most people think, but don't let out our secret. Besides, after my sentence(read time at school) in Trinidad, I was very happy to be home. Now if I can just draw a goddam bull tag in my unit all will be great! Stop in if your ever up this way. I always have a table at the colorado collectors show too.

Steve the gunsmith,

What is the name of your shop...and where in the PRB would it be...? I'm in need of some work and gunsmiths are few and far between down here in SE Siberia. I have a magazine feeding problem with a model 70 Super Shadow WSM .270 and need a new bluing job on a sportorized 1903.

Steve,

I'll drop by next time I'm up that way. I bought a left-handed rifle for one of my sons at Bighorn about 10 years ago. cheers

Lorenzo,

Turkey season opens April 6th in Oklahoma.

If all else fails, go shoot some prairie dogs, which is plenty of fun!!

After this trip you should really take a "work trip" to Australia to investigate "Murry Grey" cattle, a bread they developed down under.

Depending on where you'll be at in Ohio, we could get together. pretty much a dead time as far as hunting goes, but the fishing may be picking up a little. Let me know where you'll be making a stop here.

I live within 90 minutes of Denver and work about 30 minutes from Denver. I work in a great gunshop too! Stop by and look around. I would love to pick your brain about hunting options in your area of the world.

I'm within 15 minutes of Denver proper and 15 minutes of where SKB is Boulder. Where in Denver are you going to be staying?

skb and David,
Great, I will make some time to see both of you !!

I don't know where I will be staying as I am travelling with a small group (the local representant of Select Sires and some angus breeders from down here), the group travel ends in Denver so I will take a couple of days for travelling by my own.

Plain City isn't too far away from where I'm at in Ohio, just let me know when you're expecting to be in the area, and we'll have to get together and drink a few beers.
