Not my biggest buck, but man! it's my first 6 for one side. I shot this guy under a ceader tree still hunting in the rain Sunday afternoon on a farm I lease in Northern Missouri just south of Langcaster. My rifle is a Remington 700 ADL in a 30-06 wearing a Leupold VariX-II 3x9x40 shooting 180 grn. Hey Ted way to go! Very nice whitetail, I would like to hunt in Missouri one of these years. Your set up is similar to my main rifle: 30/06 shooting Sierra 180 grain Gamekings Leupold Vari-x II but mine is on a Win M70. Thanks for the pictures. | |||
