Went on line and applied for a coveted elk tag in the peoples republic of Kalifornia. I have max points for elk and antelope and always buy a few shots for a fundraiser tag for elk and antelope.

I have zero points for an X zone but there is always a chance so I put in for an X4 tag, mainly because the area is a little more friendly to my beat up old body. Not sure how many more years I can chase the critters.

Thanks for the good wishes. I a have often thought when I submit my applications the DFG (oops Fish and Wildlife) gets my application and say "oh, that guy", and throw it in the trash.
