What is the earliest date to see if you drew deer in Colorado, online? I'm itching to find out.

I don't have a clue but you CAN find out by going to: CPW and looking it up.

Good luck,
George

How do you use the back door? I just called CDOW because they showed my preference points for 15 but not 16 which it would if I didn't draw. I thought that meant that if it didn't show points, I drew the tag. They said they have been having trouble with the website. They also said they have been having problems. I would like to hear how you use the "backdoor".

I don't know how to use back door either but my guy at TAGS that handled all my apps said he just went in and it showed me having an elk tag.

You go on line and fill out all the pages and blanks as if you are applying for a license or buying a habitat stamp. Along the way you will see what tags you applied for near the bottom of the page in a rectangular box....maybe by page 3 or so....

I'm showing 4xx so no deer or elk for this year's draw

If you show 5xx you drew a license

Deer, bear and elk so far but I haven't heard of pronghorn yet

Hope this helps

Login and go through the process like you are going to buy a tag. when you click on buy tags, the screen will show you all the things you have applied for this year.

they all have a number code next to the app.

as ted said, if it starts with a 4, no dice.

if it starts with a 5, you drew something.

all mine are 4's except for bear...but since i didnt draw an elk tag in that unit looks like it'll go unused.

i believe only deer, bear, and possibly elk are currently working in this manner.

Damn John, I had 6 bear points in '12 when I got sick and have lost 'em all since I haven't kept up on it because I couldn't. Now IF I did draw I couldn't go anyway.

Turned out the secretary bought that stuff I called about the other night. Got it even before it was posted online the man said. That's C/S!

Stay well,
George

All results are posted on the website now.

Bama, 18 preference points on Deer must be an amazing unit. With 19 points on Elk you are slightly behind the curve on unit 201.
Good luck on your Buck hunt.

I drew 63, fourth season. The outfitter, Jerad Cotton, said it is the same deer as 53 but you don't have to fight the crowd. He said in 53, there are just a few places to glass and the hunters tend to crowd there. Elk, I'm looking at 76 in a year or two. I think it would be a great hunt, wilderness and the rut.
