My son-in-law just sold some dogs to a farmer in this county and the farmer extended an invitation to come up and deer hunt on his property. The farmer does not deer hunt but said there were plenty of deer on his place. We have put in for a late hunt with muzzle loader license. Anybody have any first hand information about this area of Iowa?

I have friends that own ground in that county. I went out there this past season and was very impressed with the genetics. Like anywhere, there is country that's much more huntable than other areas, hopefully he is on a place that holds deer
