Ladies and Gentleman

There is still time to get in the Wyoming left over drawing for antelope and mule deer for the'06 season.

We have Oct. 7-13 open for antelope near Gillette for 1 or 2 parties of 1-3 hunters. The hunt is $1850 for 3 days fully guided and includes 1 buck and 2 doe antelope. Expectation should be to see hundreds of antelope and have multiple shooting opportunities at mature aniamls of 13'-15". Food/lodging is not included but is readily avaialble in Gillette.

We can take 1 or 2 mule deer hunters on a private ranch near Kaycee, WY. Hunts will start 25 Oct. for 5 days and cost $3750. This is also fully guided and does include all food and lodging. Expectation should be to see a lot of deer and get a shot at a nice mature 4x4 muley with spreads of 21"-25". If you want some additional meat a couple of whitetail does can be taken for the tag fee in addition to the buck muley.

There is still one opening in Idaho for a elk/whitetail combo. This is a 8 day pack in trip with 6 full days of hunting. The hunt goes for $4750 1x1 and includes everything even airport pick up in Spokane, WA. Tags and license are the only extras. Reasonable trophy expectation should be for a bull of 300 B&C or better with the area holding much larger animals. Tags can be bought for this hunt online or over the counter.

Contact me anytime for further details.

I may be wrong but in states that work with outfitters, outfitters have priority on tags in some units and are guranteed availability of certain tags over the public.

Just an FYI!

-Everybody has a dream hunt, mine just happens to be for a Moose.-

-The 30-06 is like a perfect steak next to a campfire, a .300 Win Mag is the same but with mushrooms and a baked potato-

Guys,

Boy! You are sharp. You are correct the Wyoming regular drawing result are not available yet. On the other hand in the areas I was referring to the results of the regular drawing are irrelevant since there are always a great number of leftover licenses. the application period for the leftover drawing is July 10-20 so what I was saying was that there was still a chance to get a Wyoming License and book a good hunt. Not everyone is familiar with the ins and outs of the western state drawings.

As for the outfitters having preference for tags that does not apply in Wyoming. The outfitters are completely dependent on the clients drawing their own license.

Regards,

Mark

Thanks for the clarification Mark. As you read I was going off of assumption and things I've heard but there are a lot of people that don't understand that out here in the west, things are quite a bit different for drawing tags and so-forth.

There's usually a surplus of left over tags in the gillette area.

If I was going to take the antelope hunt. I'd first call around and see what is available for motels. Gillette is insane right now, with its methane and coal boom. Alot of companies are renting entire motels just for their workers. Rooms can be nonexsistant.

Kamo Gari,

Must of had a flashback to a lady I met in a dockside bar in the late 60's-early 70's in your home town while in the navy.

Mark, would the elk/whitetail hunt be by horseback into the mountains? My shoulder is feeling just a wee bit better, and I have a sweet little Savage 99A in .308 that I'd like to blood. Maybe . . . ?

Would you be so kind as to PM me with the details?
