When you are at the photobucket site looking at the thumbnails there will be a URL listed in, I think, the top box under the thumbnail. Right click and copy the URL, then type your messsage in at AR, when you get to the point that you want your picture to display look just under your dialog box and there is a Instant UBB Code box, click on "image" and a small box will pop up. Then right click and hit paste to put in the URL you copied from photobucket.

I use Photobucket all the time and it's easist for me to have two browser windows open when I do it. Here's a picture of a really handsome guy to show it working.

Browningguy: Thank you for the help. The photos below are of an antelope hunt my brother and I just completed near Craig, CO. We each shot a decent buck this past Friday. I am the one with the rounder (heavier) face and I have my hat off in one of the photos....the person holding the head belongs to the goat. It was an excellent hunt.

Doug: Thank you..it was an excellent hunt. My brother flew out from Herndon, VA and I flew down from Anchorage and we hooked up in Denver. There are a lot of antelope, mule deer, and elk out near Craig.

mho: It was extremely enjoyable and the meat is excellent.

DesertRam: Yep, the first goats for both of us..there will be more.

Doc: The goats are being mounted there in Craig..they are actually very striking animals...the black cheek patch and tan and white skin makes for a fine trophy. They remind me of the SA springbuck. I am sure you will have an excellent hunt.

Arts: It has been a wet year and everything from the elk on down to the grouse has benefited from that...we saw lots of grouse...big fat ones.

54JNoll: Both animals were shot at about 100 yards..in different places about 5 hours apart...but there was plenty of crawling on all 4s and several stalks that did not pan out. We were hunting on private land and the number of animals was amazing. For those who like to take 250 to 300 yard shots there are plenty of opportunities . It is hard to get a steady shot at a 100 pound 3.5 foot high animal at 300 yards using shooting sticks...at least it is for me. Next time I am taking a rifle rest so that I can reliabley hit out to 250+ yards. All the big goats normally are out that far..they are harder to get close too..If I don't get a rifle rest, I will just have to show up on the first day of the season. I used the smallest rifle I have..a .300 Wby mag shooting 150 NPs..much more than needed but it did kill the animal pretty damn fast and I did not ruin any meat...which turned out to be excellent. My brother used a more traditional .270 Win shooting 130 gr Nosler silver tips...a real killer. You will have fun on your hunt.

Thanks for the reply.

Sounds like a great hunt. I did some 200 and 280yard shooting the other day. I could not get out to 300 as a slight roll in the terrain placed a hill in the way and I wanted to shoot without my bench. All my shots would have scored in the vitals. I am using 139 grain SST Hornady Light Mag ammo chrono'ed at and average of 2950 from my 7mm-08.

I plan on using my Harris bypod from the prone. I will restrict my sitting/kneeling to under 200 with the bypod. I really like this setup. I bught the model that has a slight swivel to allow you to level the gun on slighly unevel terrain. Very nice and stable.

I do plan on getting as close as possible but wanted to make sure I could reach out if I had to.

Thanks again.

Three ... three

I don't know how you can sleep at night knowing you are depriving two others.

Enjoy and may your hunt be blessed
