I had planned on posting this picture with the little story about my recent cougar hunt. Anyway this is the cat's kill we found near where we shot the cougar. The eye guards measure 9" and the bases start at 5". He rough scored a conservative 147 7/8. It wouldn't be too hard to imagine with a little width(he only had 18") and beam length he would have been a 160 class easy. He will be mounted eventually somehow with the cougar.

That would have been a trophy on its own merit. By the way Mark I received the tape. Thank you, Frank

That's neat! Should make an outstanding trophy, combining the buck and the cat... Tell us about the hunt... Regards, Guy

Hey Mark, I noticed that you're from Dillingham. You wouldn't happen to know a Darren Summers would you? I'm good friends with his brother Ryland. He ran a fish camp up the Nushugak river( spelling is probably not right). He still owns property up there, but he's moved to Vancouver, WA. Just curious, considering Dillingham is so small. By the way, nice buck. With the cat, that should make for one good conversation piece.
