HACKED SIGN i-70 NEAR dENVER

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I will never forget the bill board off I-70 near Glenwood or Rifle in the early 90's, that said "Don't Californicate Colorado"!!!

That's what happens when you have jobs and growth in your area. We all voted for that, didn't we?

That looks more like CO/Spgs mtns to me.
With the burn scar to back it up now.
I don't recognize the roadway though. Might be on hwy 24 someplace, I haven't been up that way in ten years or more.

I'd of written it: "soon as you stock up on weed, go home!"

Knew it wasn't true lettering.

Thanks for sharing,

George

I 70 going west into the foothills is more than two lanes as well.

Don't blame the messenger, that is how it was labeled where I picked it up from.

The sign didn't work! Denver area sure has been "Californiacated". The last time I was in Fort Collins there were dirty, stinky intoxicated people everywhere. It is really sad that one of our greatest states has been changed for the worst.

I believe the same can be said of parts of Oregon and Washington...

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Yep, it didn't help anything. They started moving in around Grand Junction and many bought up everything they could over around Collbran and off of Grand Mesa.

Texas is slowly falling to the disease as well. Hard to tell Austin from Berkeley. Frowner

Nope, the stretch of highway and the sign are actually in Spain. The photo is some app you can get to do such messages.

To keep people from the cities from moving in and ruining your area the solution is simple: Whenever you sell a property, sell for about one-third of the going rate to your neighbor’s kids or grandkids so they can afford to stay in the area. That would solve the problem, but whenever anyone sells they want the biggest stack of cash some city-slicker will offer them. Then they wonder why their area has changed.

Matt,

from the link.......

Here’s a March 2017 article about radar enforcement from Spain that uses the same image.

And this website, also from Spain, uses the same image to talk about radar enforcement.

We used these articles to track down the original photograph on Shutterstock, an online library of images for purchase.

The photographer took the image of a sign alerting Spanish drivers of upcoming radar enforcement. He also uploaded an image of a blank sign for all your customizing needs.

I am by no way an expert on Spanish geography, engineering, architecture, nor even which side of the road they drive on, but to me that auto in the foreground sure could be a Chevy Surburban or a Ford Expidition, but when one reads the 6.00 and 6.25 under the meme, I would imagine that would be the "meters' of clearance. Don't think many signs in Colorado show clearance in meters.

Quien Sabe?

Having lived here for almost 40 years, I do think we currently have enough illegals, Californians (read anti-hunting Libs), and potheads in the state. JMO, of course.
