That sort of thing has been happening at a local and county level here in Texas. Dem controlled governments closed down firearms trade and then the Texas Attorney General read them chapter and verse of the law, so they had to back off the closures. There may be a Dem mayor or judge left that has not backed off, but that will not last long as they are identified. They probably do not want state law enforcement arresting them for breaking state laws; especially in an election year. I don't think it was completely because of the Remington's plant closure. I think it was mainly because of a letter from the Gun Owners of America and the Gun Owners of California requesting clarification from DHS about the status of gun stores: are they, or are they not, considered part of the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce? | |||
