I guess none of those wolf lovers have ever seen or heard and animal taken down and eaten alive by wolves. They just might change their minds.
The wife and I were camped in the White Mountains of Arizona on an elk hunt. We'd run into a rancher who was looking for a lost cow. We'd seen it and passed it on to him. That night, about two or three in the morning we were awakened by the sounds of an animal in serious distress. Whatever was happening, it wasn't good. There is a pack of those mexican Gray wolves in that area and my thoughts were they caught some animal and were taking it down. The next morning, the wife and I took a walk up where the sounds were coming from and we found the remains of that rancher's missing cow.
My take is they were exterminated for a damn good reason. I never want to ever hear something like that again, let alone witness it happening.
Just my take on the wolf situation.
