I had an eventful weekend hunting as the bucks were really chasing the does. Here are a couple of pics. This is a mature 7.5 plus buck that is past his prime. Next is a 5.5 year old that messed up his rack this year. A bit unusual. I found his sheds last year and he was an upper 150's buck. Last is a 4.5 year old nine point that has good potential if he adds more points. The biologist saw him from the helicopter during the census but he didn't pop out of the brush until last weekend.

Those are some terrific bucks. And it goes to show exactly how effective a serious management program can be. Thanks for sharing those great shots! Bobby Μολὼν λαβέ The most important thing in life is not what we do but how and why we do it. - Nana Mouskouri

Nice bucks, Larry... you have great genetics on your ranch! On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died. If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch... Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son! - Rudyard Kipling Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.
