One of Aaron Neilsons clients killed this giant yesterday. One of the most impressive deer I have seen come from the plains….

Fantastic buck, congratulations to all involved.

How many points is it currently taking to draw most of the plains unit tags?

Lots of units/seasons, and 3 weapon choices as well - so it varies greatly.

Archery: 0-1 point

Muzzleloader: 0-2 points

Rifle: Early season / 1-4 points on average
Rifle: Late Season / 2-6 points on average

If one is interested in "Whitetail Only" tags, they are easier to draw than the "antlered deer" rifle tags, or the archery/muzzleloader tags that are valid for either species.
