I sure am glad I tried the Barnes TSX this year. Six perfect kills on whitetails using a 140 gr TSX in my 7mm08 with little meat damage. Just a nice one inch hole on the exit side of the lungs. I don't think I will be trying another brand after this season.

You think you'll entertain the new Barnes MRX? I've had such great results with the TSX it will be difficult to decide, but the new MRX is almost a dollar per bullet.

Glad you like the TSX, it has worked very well for me too.

I don't have a need for the MRX. It is a specialty bullet for distance and penetration and will not be offered in a lot of calibers. The TSX performance is perfect for me. The MRX is sort of one of those marketing things that companies have to keep offering something new to gain more market share. I will not give it a try.
I still shoot cheap sierras for practice. Try a sierra about 20 gr lighter and load it light and you still hit about the same zero for practice.
