I guess we're going to have to quit feeding the birds
until I remove the stairs. Makes me think twice about my amateur astronomy from my deck too ...

Smiler

Chuck

Removing the stairs wont help if you still have deck posts. But electricity helps.

Only people who want bears hanging around here.

Leave bird feeders out before or after the snow.

I think he's a pretty good bear but hard to really tell from the video. After he finishes off my apples probably won't see him till next fall.

Chuck

Chuck that's a pretty big bear for Colorado, he is packing on the pounds for the winter.
Most Bears in Colorado are relatively small but there are some exceptional ones on occasion, this one is no monster but he is well above average for here.
Lots of Bear sightings this month in Broadmoor, Skyway, Gold Camp, Flyin W and Rockrimmon areas and most of them are eating bird feeders, garbage, pet food and deer feed, yes some idiots are still feeding deer in our fair city.

Thanks We won't be feeding the birds anymore. He gets all of the apples off of our treeevery year. Can't do much about that. This is the first year he went for the bird feeder.

Chuck

Look at how small the ears are compared to the head.
That's a good sized bear for anywhere.

What part of the Springs is that??
Buddy on 800 blk N El Paso has three nice bucks in his back yard a lot of days. One's 5 pts and nice wide rack.

Nice vid, thanks for posting it.

Thanks all. I'm still going out a night looking at the stars and am more worried about the skunks lol

I live in Broadmoor Bluffs just up the hill from Pinon Valley Elementary. Used to see lions every week before the place got more built up, still see them once a month.
