Well my season is over. The first bird was a white Jake with a black beard. We have several of these freak birds and I am trying to get them out of our flock. The second bird was a 22 pound Tom with one inch spurs and a 11.5 inch beard. He was one of the best birds I have ever shot. The last bird was a 19 pound Tom 9 inch beard but he had nice spurs about an inch...I feel he was the domanent bird in the flock ..he was worn down by fighting and struting.

I will take my seven year old son out sat morning...I hope and pray he gets a big one.

Well Done. Do you have any pictures of the freak bird? I'd like to see what he looks like.

Great Season!

Hope the boy gets one.

Its been kind of slow around here, we are having a terrible predator problem.

Good Luck!

I've got some on a roll of film I am about to finish...I will post photos of all the birds.

Two of these were killed as they were going to roost about 5:30-6:00 PM.
