Those are a couple of pet grizz my grandpa used to have back in the early 60's in northern Michigan. He caught them both taking a nap in the sun on the tailgate of his old wagon one day and thought it would be cute to snap a picture. Hope this helps clear things up. | ||

That is probably a sow with her two year old (+) offspring. Location could be anywhere brown bear live, but if I were guessing I would bet it is on the ALCAN. These bears where shot near or on the road and even in 1960 grizzlys were tough to come by...so my guess is that they were taken somewhere between Dawson Creek and Fairbanks. | |||
