I see you're from Kallispell. I've been through there. Nice area, especially for hunting. One thing I've noticed is that many of the whitetails have some rather large ears. I was told at a taxidermist's place there that it is from mulie/whitetail crosses over the decades.

I thought that the offspring from such a cross were all sterile.

Those elk are big by the way. They look healthy.

I'm looking at doing my first Montana hunt in 2005. I've found an outfitter that I trust but I don't think the mulies in his area get real big (from some of the pictures I've seen).

Any advice? I'll do a combo hunt or whatever. Elk/mulie/whitetail/antelope.
