I would ask for your thoughts and prayers Friday for my 20 yr old daughter. She's having heart surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for heart arrhythmia. The operation is actually done under local anesthesia and is called Focal Point Catheter Ablation. Supposed to work in 90 - 95% of the cases. I'll post updates as it all unfolds.

Thanks for the replies, thoughts, and prayers guys. I have a couple of days off before the procedure.

If I sat at home I would go crazy. So, I spent part of today partaking some of the best therapy I know of, reloading and shooting at the range. I was adjusting my rifles scopes from deer loads to varmint loads, and working on a few load workups. I also cleaned out the garage, and got the snowblower ready, put lawnmowers and bikes away. I brought some venison steaks over to my Mother tonite, then did some more handloading.

I'll keep everyone posted on the results as info is available.

rifleman,

I had a similar surgery almost two weeks ago, and a valve change for good measure, feeling pretty good now. My prayers go out for your daughter, for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
