A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Thank you!

Looks like the city of Rockport, where the eye made landfall, is a real mess. Rockport is a wonderful little town with lots of weekend homes and about 10,000 folks that suport the fishing and tourist industry. It is not a summer town that is empty 9 months out of the year. Several thousand families will be effected by this.

Yup. Looking for a way to contribute that insures those in real need are taken care off. Seems that many contributions just disappear. Mad

Still raining, hard. I've lived here for 52 years and never seen anything like this. Small town just east of here has, reported 40 inches of rain! I'm high and dry here, but there are tens of thousands that aren't..........

I am heading to Aransas Pass on Friday with a truck load of supplies. A couple of local churches have combined efforts and we're cooking for the community, chainsawing up trees and helping clear debris from houses. Anything you want to give will be received 100% by the town's people of AP. I will personally guarantee it.

The church taking the lead is River City Community Church in Schertz. Their Facebook page is River City Community Church-A church for real life. The church I'm affiliated with is Community Worship Service in San Antonio, TX.

Most of my family is there, A son and daughter in law servived well and no water in the house, but they were stranded from going anywhere...

A grandsons apt. flooded with 4 ft. of water and he lost everything, His reply to his dad, "Get over it dad, Im one of the lucky ones" was his attitude, Were proud of him and we will take care of him and his losses.

The rest of the family live further North and all they got was some wind and heavy rain..We, as a family were blessed..MOst of my family from as far away as Dallas rushed to the aid of those less fortunates with their truck, boats, food and water, taking folks to shelters.

Makes me proud as hell of my Texas brothern, they all came together as a state from the 4 corners of Texas, and some others from elsewhere. They rushed to Houston with boats, food and water, they got things fixed while the feds were in a planning stage..Texas isn't just a state, its a state of mind...always has been from the beginning, always will be.
