Hi all,

Coming to Florida this summer, dates as yet not set in stone. Coming for probably two weeks, the wife wants to do Sea World, so I figured I get to go hunting.

Looking for a well priced hunt for maybe pig or deer? Not fussed really what it is, more interested in the experience of hunting abroad, might wind up just going to a few ranges. Something that can be done in a day or two days would be preferable so that the wife doesn't get bored.

Over here in the UK you can book a days stalking for deer etc.. Are there things like that available to me in the Orlando areas of Florida, or within a reasonable drive with a hire car?

Any links to outfitters or recommendations?

Reasonably experienced, shoot shotguns and rifles over here and have been to Africa once.

Many thanks

Kyle

No Deer in the summer but you can hunt pigs and exotics. You can try Brady Ranch, google it, which is not far from Orlando.

Unfortunately, you're not there during hunting season, but it is prime time for great fishing.

I would imagine foreign tourist are considered exotics and therefore do not have a season. I bet there are plenty of opportunities for European and Asian tourists around Orlando.

I would bring at least a .25 caliber and you may even need your 375 H&H for those 300 lbers.

if you're bringing your own gun, be sure to check with BATF a long time before your travel

i've heard of 2 months+ processing time.

Brady Ranch, as suggested by a prior poster, is a good idea. Google them and visit their web page.

You will also be able to hunt Axis deer at any time of the year as these are "exotics". Plenty of pigs.
