havent been there for 10 years, just wondering if they take any 160+ class mulies in there?

must be a good unit with low pressure if nobody hunts it. i'll have the whole thing to myself

I hunt and work in unit 3 and yes there are some nice 160+ deer taken every year. All my experiance is on private ground as the public land gets hunted very hard and is overcrowded. Hope this helps.

thanks elkfitter, it wasnt too bad crowd wise 10 years ago i guess i might have to cough up the money for a tresspass fee when i buy a tag.

When your ready look me up for a trespass fee hunt. I have a couple of ranches in that unit.

Area 3/301 has had a definite increase in hunters during the past 10 years. I've hunted in those areas and the 4's since 1978. Elkfitter is correct in that the land is hunted very hard and is overcrowded. Saying that, I was hunting cow elk there last week. Saw a number of very large bucks on public and private land.
