It seems like this problem gets worse every year. Last weekend I was up in the area where I like to hunt(public ground-state forest) looking around. This area is restricted to ATV use yet there were guys buzzing around like flies. Some cretins had been trying to climb up a steep snow covered slope and had ripped it to bits. People seem to think that they can ignore the laws and get away with it. They don't seem to be fazed by the fines etc. I think it's time to jack the trespass fines, etc. up to a high enough amount that people will think twice about breaking the law. Throw the book at these low life losers and use the fines to hire more game wardens.

I read somewhere (Successful Hunter) that road hunters disconnect their brake lights so they won't scare the deer when they stop for a shot. Can anyone tell me if this is true?
