Yep, everything out in Yellowstone, including the rivers, is now perfect too because of them, LOL!

blanco countyExcellent article in today's NY Times, written by a wildlife biologist who has worked Yellowstone, refuting the myth that wolf introduction has regenerated forests and game populations in Yellowstone.

CrazyhorseconsultingArticles such as this one are really good, providing people actually read them with an open mind and not just read thru them picking out the comments that they feel most matches their personal opinions on the issue.
Thank You for posting it.

But you'd be wrong:
First thread.... Your thread was the most prolific. But you locked horns with CHC, so that is almost like cheating....

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.
Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Larry SellersYes, Wolves have a large impact on rivers. A Wolf Pack needs a lot of water to drink after killing off most of the deer and elk herd where they live. In quenching their thirst, lots of rivers have been reduced to mere trickles.

c'mon JB. You know the rules. You can only point out one mistake at a time. Etiquette, parliamentary procedure and all that. So in keeping with proper procedures you need to repost
1. I was wrong about the sequence of threads
-or-
2. I got in a critter fight with crazycow from "Olnay Texass" and cheated by creating a more prolific discussion by agitating a lipid response from him
