He's a nutcase.

He had a hissy fit a few months ago and hasn't been back, as far as I know.

He was trying to promote some boreder gaurd militia or something...

I don't think anyone here took him seriously- he's got mental problems and about 20 personalities...

Here is a post from Bushnells Outdoors. He claims to have 3 degrees in this post but in another he can't down load anything to a computer disc.

You and I share the same state Erin, you to the west and me to the, far, east. What we need to do is go visit Gerry. The bag limits where he lives make ours, where we live, look sad.

As to learning, I've always been curious. Even as a child. I was also blessed with, ah hem, he says with some discomfiture, MENSA level smarts. And, I've been lucky enough to earn 3 university degrees at 3 different high quality universities:
1) Bachelor of Science
2) Master of Arts
3) EdS (doctoral level)

As to thinking, I have always enjoyed that process for what I've learned only becomes clear and useful to me when I truely think about it. Some folks learn but do not think. This will always, unfortunately, limit them. For it's the thinkers who are blessed with the opportunity to stretch the envelope of learning. Think of it this way:
1) Learning is like acquiring tools.
2) Thinking is the using of those tools.
3) Wisdom may or may not come to you, regardless of age, unless you not only master these tools but find alternative ways to use same so as to understand more about our world and, ultimately, share what you have come to know with others.

Quick aside: A mutual friend of Bill Cosby and I, he is a sculptor and painter, I met him at a neighbor's dinner party, told me this story, a story told, over generations, oral history, among a primitive Indian tribe in old Mexico:
1) All of us, sooner or later, ride the red horse of anger for he is easy to find and ride.
2) Some of us, sooner or later, ride the white horse of judgment for he is easy to find but hard to ride well. Judging others is easy. Judging them correctly is much more difficult. Judging them at all is an open question that only you can answer.
3) Few of us, sooner or later, ride the black horse of wisdom for he is very difficult to find and harder yet to ride. Beware those who aspire to wisdom by talking loud for volume has little to do with wisdom.

Bill and I met way back in the 1970's when both of us were spending a lot of time in Las Vegas. I see Bill Cosby as one of the great men of our time. He is smart, generous with his time and money, to good causes, and, clearly, wise.

However, getting back to the subject at hand, more than anything, I'm a reader. All my life I've read whatever I could find on the shooting sports. Every free catalog put out by a gun or ammunition maker soon found its way into my hands for I was poor and these were free. As the years went by I accumulated 70 linier feet of books, mostly on the shooting sports. If I don't read a book more than once, I don't keep it, I trade it away, so all of these books have been read more than once, some several times.

I'm also a note taker. When I go shooting I make copious notes on my target as to weather, rifle, sighting system, load, bullet, point of

From what I've seen,he fits right in with being a transplant jackson hole, ex california/colorado cocksucker. However,he can't seem to make up his mind, exactly where he's from. If I remember rightly,he claims Jackson, tetons, wilson and any other place in the area.Essentially every fucked up transplant shithole in the state. At one time he was claiming to be a developer, that had built all kinds of real estate in colorado, california and nevada.

One of you guys go to the Bushnells Outdoors site and read some of his posts under CJ, Centerfire rifles, and tell me if you think it is the same guy? Now he is telling people he went on a 30 day photo safari but wont post any of the pictures for fear of people stealing the photos. He used to be a professioonal photographer I guess, as well as a teacher, boxer, 3 college degrees!!

Gatehouse: More like canards, but yes, he is the one. He has been a pro boxer, college prof, pro photographer, raconteur, to name a few; good pals with Clint Eastwood, Elmer Keith, Jack Oconnor, Evan Marshall, a host of other celebs, and their dogs. Has 20/10 vision, golfer, shooter, traveler, firearms expert..., and ostensibly, a soda jerk to a rocket scientist. Lived everywhere, done everything, met everyone, knows everything... quite a life. Omniscient, never having to be present to discern truth from fable. On and on...

I thought this Tibbe and Cj were the one and the same. Same crap about Kieth and O'Conner! Like he knew them personally and quoted them. Both guys quote the books and stories.

And yes I am short, getting fat, ugly, and can only shoot so so! Not rich either! But I don't try to mislead people and lie!

Hey guys, isn't this cyberspace??? Isn't everybody rich, multiple degreed, handsome in the classical sense and the owner, fee simple, of a Fortune 500 company? Mensa? Hell, they wouldn't let half of these folks in Memsa only 'cause they don't have any way of testing just how smart they are. Isn't this the place where a guy will say he bought a chinese SK47, wiped the cosmoline from it and shoot some test groups with russian ammo at 100yards and then will modestly report that the best he could do was .3's and .4's.
I have always assumed I was the only one in here that was short, fat, ugly and poor. And couldn't shoot worth a f***.

Went over and took a peek. The WET one we know and laugh at has a different tone and attitude from this gent. I don't know anything about this gent, just that as of now, there is a different tone and attitude. Maybe I missed the post where he promised to turn everyone in to the Home Security force or something else, I didn't see that from cjishere2 postings, yet. The WET one earned his laughter, hate to saddle someone else with it undeservidly. Like Yogi said, however, it ain't over till it's over.

You would think that a member of MENZA, a Phded, etc, could spell linear, use a screw driver to remove a Marlin bolt, put data on a diskette, and figure out how to post pics on a forum using a hosting service or email to someone who could. Nope. Not Mr Tibbe. I see he can't spell gunsmith either. LOL

Tibbe WAS a moderator here, a long time ago.

back then, he seemed normal. Then he went haywire...He claimed it was his nephew or something, using his name, but he just got more and more out there.

I think he threatened Ray in some way, but I can't remember, exactly.

WET is a nutcase.

The bloke was on this site from the early days before Saeed went to the InfoPop software.

At one stage he posed as a retired elderly man. In fact quite a long time ago I got stuck into him and another poster emailed me and accused me of being hard and unreasonable to a retired elderly gentleman

Mike, why did this fellow think you should treat elderly gentlemen differently than everybody else?

He kept posting that he didn't know me or understand why I was on him.

Must not understand having friends?

I think it was back in late 2000 that old Bill finally fell apart here. Mike375 had been working on him for about a year(this was in the days when trolls were tough and didn't just fall apart every three weeks ).

Bill was stupid enough to attack Atkinson on a thread about Hawk bullets (I think), and the whole thing ended up with the forum heavyweights proving Bill full of shit once and for all. Saeed even rapped him across the knuckles for making threats at some stage.

Bill dissappeared and reappeared a few times before returning full force in the Clone Wars, whereby he posted on as his own grandkids and a few other personalities.

Meanwhile in a galaxy far far away called HA he had dug himself into another hole and even managed to get himself banned from another site.

That's another chapter best told by others though as I only went there occasionally to watch Mike375 hunt moderators

Actually I was surprised to find old WET posting back on as himself here this year.

Karl.

Tibbe recently left BO Forum after his paranoia finally went deep-end when every new member became suspect in his eyes of a member out to get him by posting and posing as new members or under aliases. His small tight-knit group of sycophants tried to foment il-will towards a member he suspected of perfidy among the other members. It was all very humorous to watch. In the end, it was proved his paranoia and vagaries were completely without merit, and he was slapped down by management, at which time he licked his wounds and whined off the forum, vowing never to return. I just bet! He still has a holdover or two minion(s) within the membership.

Ive never seen Tibbes equal in pomposity and absolute BS.
