Just got back from shooting pigs in Tx the four of us shot 9 pigs a couple around 300 pounds.

I shot one of the 300 pounders with my 44 red hawk 310gr hard cast wf lee mould. Took him at the base of the neck dropped him in his tracks. The others where shot with my 06 scout rifle and 220 rd nose at 2250. My son and friend used their 338 Win mags.

A great time was had by one and all.

Except for the 18 hr drive each way it was very fun trip.

You can do the same thing without all the recoil with a 22-250. Believe it or not, we do it all the time.

Personally I would suggest opening a photobucket account (www.photobucket.com) -- it's real simple to use. Open an account, and then upload photos and once they are in your photo album, you copy and paste them into your reply. Even I -- the premier computer illiterate -- can do it! Then, post 'em on the hog hunting forum because there are a lot of folks there that will love to see them! Looking forward to it!

I have and use three 22-250 rifles. One Mod 70 FWT, one Mod 70 FWT with Ramline Stock and one A Bolt with camo stock. All I shoot is bulk 55 gr handloaded bullets using 4064 or sometimes Winchesters 45 gr hollowpoint factories. lets see if the pics come through.

No, I have no idea really. At the ranch we have a scale that goes up to 250 lbs. and all three of these bottomed it out. I haven't been on this forum in a few years since I had my little girl. I just logged on tonight and it has changed a lot! There is a hog hunting section now?

Here is one I shot back in 2003. This was back before I had a good digital camera. This pic was taken with a cheap throw away camera and I had my mother sit behind him to show how big he was. He had 4 3/8" tusks. Again, no idea how much he weighed. I'll confess, I shot him with a 25-06 with 117 gr Sierra BTSP handloads. I like hunting with all my rifles and just happend to have that with me this day. This is my best pig yet.

P Dog,
Who were you hunting with?

Aggie,
Gig Em!

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

Ryan I was hunting with my son and a friend and his dad. The ranch is private and not a comercial operation. My freind has exculsives rights to hunt on it. by developing a personal relatioship with the rancher.
