They are cheap accurate bullets at the range; that's the only place I will ever use them.

I use a 115 gn 257 BT for mulies. Just dont use them for shoulder shots and they get the job done on light skinned critters just fine.

VERY CURIOUS ..what would happen if a deer is shoulder shot(not on purpose) with a plastic tipped bullet at a range under 100yards with a super high velocity caliber like stubblejumpers 7mmSTW. Would bullet pentrate shoulder?..both shoulders??

This has happened a few times for me and while the bullet did not exit, both front shoulders were broken.Meat damage in this situation can be much more than desireable, although all shoulders shots tend to have this effect reguardless of the bullet used.

I'm going to Wyoming next week for Antelope and Whitetail and plan on using a 140 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip which shoots great out of my 270 Weatherby Mag. This bullet has received allot of bad press in the past and some good.
Does anyone have any first hand experience with this bullet they can share.
Thank You
