Yesterday I got a call from my brother in law who lives in NM. I was psyched to learn he got his Oryx tag for the range. But then, I learned he also got a bull elk tag for the unit where he lives. So, he can sleep in his own bed and go hunt big bull elk.

I told him he was selfish...

Good for him! I'll have to sleep in a camp and play "guide" for my wife while she hunts big bull elk. I get chase cows around later in the year.

now, if we can only convince him to blood my step father in-laws 9.3 x 62 on the elk it'll be a good season.
