Is it possible to estimate a trophy score? I never got my elk scored, 6x6 bull with a 51" spread... I have photos but can't seem to post them well here. Regards, Guy

Yes its possible to estimate it, but why dont you just lay the tape to it and measure it up? A 6x6 with a 51 inch spread could go anywheres between 300 and 375 depending on tine length, main beam length and mass measurements. The spread doesnt count for much especially if the main beams happen to be less than 51 inches in length.

Because I know a lot about shooting and nothing about measuring an elk rack?

Here is a link to B&C's online score sheet. It tells you how to measure, where to measure and even adds the score up for you. Take a few minutes and go through it and you will know the score. Let us know how it comes out.

Score your elk here!
