I can't imagine living somewhere and having to draw a tag to hunt on my own land.

Deer A......didn't put in for elk this year. I've elk hunted the breaks 3x in the last 15 years but haven't flung an arrow yet.

That's to be seen.....not sure if I'll be eligible for a landowner's tag since I'm a non-res. Fingers crossed!

Edit: just called F&G....I won't be eligible since I'm only buying 60odd acres. To be eligible it's 160 acres minimum for deer and 640 for elk. Booooooo!

Application deadline is May 1. Drawing results will come out mid-May (approximately).
