Any opinion on Sako Hammerhead type ammo in 30-06 180 gr? What type of bullet a hammerhead is?

What about Remington Bronze Point 180 gr and Federal Hi-Shock Soft Nose 150 gr?

These are the factory ammo available here.

Thanks for opinion.

Shikaree. The Sako Hammerhead is an excellent hunting bullet. I think a majority of the moose are shot with Hammerheads. The lead core is soldered to the copper mantle.

The new Super Hammerheads have divided the hunters into three groups: 1. The ones who like them.(A minority?) 2. The one who hate them and use old Hammerheads. 3. The ones who have changed to Lapua Mega or Norma Oryx. The two latter groups refere to the supers as "rkp" which translates from finnish to english as snot head... The only super with them is apparently that they are not soldered but cost the same, and thus brings more money to the company. No need for Rem or Fed owerhere. AKI

Sako also use the single base Vihtavuori powder in their ammunition.
