I recently got back from hunting in the northeast corner of the state. I got three does in about 8 day of hunting. Got the first two on the 2nd and third of november and the third one on the 8th. I took my camper and parked it down the hill where I was hunting. The weather turned warm, like 60* later in the week. I now have meat in the freezer.

Probably some of the very best venison available.

Congrats to you!

Way cool! Were you hunting on private or public ground?

The rifle is a custom 270 wby on a pre 68 FN action. It has a bushnel banner 3-9 x 40 scope. I bought it back in th early 80s for $170 and added the scope. I used a rem 760 in 06 for the third one as it looked like my scope was moving in the rings.

It was an 80 acre piece that my wife and I bought some years ago. I have a blind set up and hunt the north 40.
