Great thread....my mother is now wintering in Casa Grande (south of Phoenix) and I need to come up with some shooting, hunting, or gun shop prowling activities while there.

Scottsdale has some fine gun shops, (William Larkin???)look in the yellow pages. Dillon Precision Products is a good place to kill some time. If you want to stretch your legs take a hike up Camel Back Mountain while you are in Scottsdale. Buy a Wallyword .22, go out in the desert & kill some prickly pears!

Hello,
I am currently on vacation visiting my mother inlaw in the Phoenix/Goodyear area. My 12 year old son and i just got back from Shooters World where we rented a handgun and had some fun for about an hour. We also visited the new Sportsmans Warehouse in Goodyear. What els is there to see or do in the area within the next couple of days that is shooting or hunting related. Help me out. I don't want to go shopping with the wife.

Thanks, Greg

BTW, my wife is originally from Scottsdale. I'm gonna follow this thread & print it out so that next time I'm there, I can "excuse" myself from the typical shopping trip with the girlfriends & go have some fun!
