Has anybody tried this new fleece out? They guarantee it to be waterproof. If it works I would be very happy to buy it... Any one have this stuff or have used it? Thanks

Mark,
Yep the site is www.riverswest.com

I'm not sure how good of a site it is. My local SportsmansWarehouse carries this stuff and if it does what it says it does it would a good piece of gear.

I am fixing to order a jacket this week. Seems to be good stuff. I am looking to eliminate a closet full of stuff for one jacket. I live north of Seattle, so a season of rain here should prove its worthiness. I've called the Co. several times and they are pretty helpful. One thing I will say, is that I asked for the Co. catalog and a price list came with it. I went to SLC, UT and went to a Sportsman's Warehouse looking for the stuff. They had it, I tried it on, found my size, realized I like it, but they only had two models I was not intersted in. The price differance was $229 on the shelf vs. $269 in thier catalog. Upon returning and making a call, the Rep was ready to sell it to me for $229 from the factory. Now I just need to figure out how to get the Guide series jacket price whittled down and order. I'll do a write up after I get it and really put it to use. I will say that the neoprene wrist cuffs are kinda neat, but bulky. Also seems as though none of the models are insulated, making not much difference in variation from model to model, i.e. buy a cheap one and layer under it. We'll see. I believe the tag said Made in USA. Better than supporting Sri Lanka or Taiwan

Jesse,
I'm looking forward to your report. Seattle would be a great place to do some testing! I think I'm going to get a jacket too I just dont know which one. My Sportsmans Warehoulse only has the backcountry jacket and the Sawtooth mtn jacket. I like the underarm zip pits in the backcountry one. I'll wait till they get more models in before I purchase.
