You are preaching to the choir on this site. Anyone that has paid any attention over the past 10 or 15 years or so, knows that HSUS is not the Benevolent organization they claim to be.

Their manifesto is the same as P.E.T.A., because PETA is the radical, attention getting arm of HSUS.

The problem is PETA is known to be a bunch of ineffectual crackpots.

HSUS has wormed its way into our national and state goverments and has actual political power and support.

Ask the folks you know that are hunters and fishermen, and see how many of them or their families donate $$$ to the HSUS?

Most folks think that HSUS only deals with homeless dogs and cats, , they are determined to do away with private pet ownership and all farming and ranching practices that use animals in any way, that includes riding horses for pleasure.

The difference between HSUS and PETA differs in the fact that if you were to ask the average person their thoughts on PETA they would say they are a bunch of crazies and wouldn't donate to them. If you were to ask the same about HSUS they would more than likely say they are a great organization that does a lot of great things for animals. They would gladly donate money to them and many people do. They have done a great job of fooling the public.
