My oldest son drew a special youth deer hunt this year and I'm thinking about buying a pop up blind to take on the hunt. Other than on hunting shows, I've never seen or used one of these things and I'm wondering if they are worthwhile??
I found an Ameristep "outhouse" blind for $75........does anyone know if that is a decent blind??
Thanks, Mark

I did quite a bit of read on them, but from a archers standpoint.
I settled on the doublebull blind,(of course the most expensive),it has enough room for me to draw a recurve and is stable if there's any wind.
The Ameristep didn't rate too bad but from my viewpoint didn't have enough room for archers.
For firearm hunters and for a 1/4 the price of the doublebull,I'd say go for the Ameristep.
Mad
