Looks promising for a Utah Antelople tag this year. Looking for good Antelope load for my Ruger #1 in 25/06. I handload so premium bullets are no problem.

My all-around load for deer and antelope in my .25-06 is the 115 gr. Nosler partition, Rem. brass, Fed. 215 primer, and 54.5 gr. of IMR-7828. Velocity varies from about 3,025 to 3,100 fps, depending upon the lot of powder. I shot a few antelope with the 100 gr. Nosler partition, 56.0 gr. of H-4831, Rem. brass, and Fed. 210 primer. This is also a good load. Both of these loads are about maximum in my rifle (a Rem. 700 Classic) so start a few grains lower.

What area will you be hunting in? I got one antelope (depradation permit) in the Icelander Wash area and several in the Bonanza area. Good luck.
