I'm thinking about taking my 17 yr. old on a Spring black bear hunt in Spring 2012. I've hunted black bear in three Canadian provinces but I'm interested in finding a good hunt in the lower 48. Any suggestions?

consider northern idaho. you get reduced bear tags ($31.75 each) and two tags per person. the non resident license is only $151.40. i am planning to go in april or may of next year and really hope to get two bers.
