Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

2kuduhunterHold on a minute, Montana wants $350.00 per tag non-resident. That pretty well kills most non-res from just buying a tag in case they come across a wolf while hunting deer or elk!!! Idaho was much smarter on their tag fees!

Rarely do I ever consider the high fees of tags a problem, but in this case, I totally agree! The idea and the need is to kill a bunch of wolves, quickly. Alot of folks just won't spend that much for a tag, and of course, they'll see wolves.
Lower the price, so every person within the state lines of Montana has a wolf tag, or 4.

PhilRThe Montana authorities are anxious to reduce the wolf population, but even more anxious to separate the NR hunters from their money....annoying.

p dog shooterSame with a lot of states when it comes to NR lic.
Some states complain of higher then should be game populations then make it harder and more expensive to get tags.
If thats the case then is is all about making money then proper game managment.
I am going to MT elk and deer hunting I would by a wolf tag just in case if it was 20 to 50 dollars but not for 350 . Tells me they are not interisted in reducing the population.

coyote wackerI would pay $350 for a resident tag in Michigan to shoot a wolf! We have more than the DNR thinks.
