Is it worth going after javelina in New Mexico? If so, what are some of the better areas a non-resident DIY guy can have a decent hunt?

come shoot one off my back porch.. damned things eat all my quail's seed I put out for the covies and they eat all my wife's flowers!! They are around my house daily wreaking havok in one way or the other.
