Just got back from my ranch/farm in East Texas. Spent 2 days there. Got a little work done but the big job of leveling a 40 foot cargo container couldn't be done because my hydraulic jack couldn't lift the container. There was a bonus. Around 8 am of the second morning, I heard a turkey gobble. I opened the trailer door and looked up thinking it may be up in one of the very tall trees, then a movement about 40 feet away on the ground in front of our trailer caught my eye. It was a very very large tom turkey (Beard was easily 10 or more inches). We watched him for 15 minutes from inside while he gobbled, spread his tail and strutted. To my surprise, when I went outside to get a picture, he just looked at me and continued his strutting and gobbling for another half hour. This was the first tom we had ever seen on our place. I have a 1 minute video and a snap shot but posting pictures is too complicated. I can email them if someone else wants to assist with the posting.
