i wondered if there is possible to hunt the wild oxens like the Gaur/Seladang in Asia still.?

I have a recent (April-June 2006)copy of a magazine called "GUNS & GAME (The South Pacific Journal of Firearms and Hunting)". In it is an article "OXEN OF THE WORLD" by Les Kosek. In his section ENDANGERED OXEN he lists GAUR and says "...It occurs in India, Terai, Indochina and Malaya...Gaurs are heavily protected animals, no hunting is allowed in their natural habitat at present."

An interesting article for anyone interesed in hunting the Bovine family from Cape and water buffalo to muskox, bison, eland and nilgai.
